“ This establishment is definitely worth a visit! The ambiance is fantastic, and the customer service is commendable. When it comes to the menu, every dish I've shared here is bursting with flavor. Don't miss out on the delightful rum runner drinks! ”
“ Went there with my mother for lunch. This restaurant is very open and spacious. I ordered a Jamaican beef pie, it was flavorful. We went ahead and ordered our entrees and when it came out, the portions were pretty generous. My mother ordered the Oxtail stew and I ordered the Brown Stewed chicken. It came with two sides which we both got the rice & beans and cabbage along with cornbread. I tried hers and mine, both tons of flavor and you can taste the Jamaican spices. You can definitely share an entree between two people, that's for sure. ”
“ So my first visit here and from the moment I walked in the door my server Jada had the best attitude ever. Love that. Ambiance is great. I got seated outside just because the vibe and weather permitted too. I’m from NYC and so are the owners so was my server to meet someone from up north. Ok back to the food; I ordered the jerk chicken meal and was not disappointed along with fresh coco bread. The pineapple ginger juice a must have too. I’ll be back with my crew for sure. Come and check them out. ”
“ Bonfire was not the first choice for dinner last night. We were headed to another restaurant but that place had an hour and a half wait. We were hungry so we decided on Bonfire. When we arrived at Bonfire me and my date were the only ones there. I have no idea how long it had been open but it looked brand new. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I loved the lighting fixtures and the design of the seating area. There was also a dj that added to the atmosphere. Bonfire being a Jamaican restaurant I thought it apt to order the Jerk Chicken. You get 2 sides with the entree. I ordered the mac and cheese and french fries. My date got the catfish along with the potato salad and french fries. I was eager to dig in when the food came back. First off the fries were very crisp and fried to perfection. The mac and cheese was delicious. It was some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. The jerk chicken was absolutely amazing. It came with the jerk sauce on the side. Honestly, I really didn’t need it. The chicken had a delicious smoked flavor. It tasted like chicken you’d eat at a summer bbq. I can not say enough about the jerk chicken. I tasted the catfish my date ordered and it was really good too. I really would love to come back here and try more things. ”
“ We came for the first time. Everyone was nice, our server was a little wet behind the ears, but she did a good job. The food was really good, there was no some things on the menu they said the “only” had available on certain days that were out unfortunately, so the table all got the jerk chicken. Which was good, chicken was dry, but a good dry. Jerk sauce was sweet with a very good kick at the end. All sides were good. Only down fall was there is no kid menu, so for younger ones you are limited on selections. Other then that it was a little warm in there, the AC eventually came on before we left. Either way it was a good experience over all, everyone was nice and food was prepositional for the price. Can’t wait to go back and try oxtail! ”
“ The chicken was tender, and the jerk sauce had just the right amount of spice. Paired it with steamed cabbage and collard greens. The greens had a great flavor. The jerk sauce spiced up the cabbage. Nice atmosphere, full bar, clean and inviting. There is a patio if you want to dine outside. Highly recommended. ”
“ This was an amazing experience!! The food was amazing! We sampled some jerk chicken, jerk pork, curry chicken, and oxtail stew. Oh and don’t forget to try the Jamaican patties for an appetizer. You will not regret stopping at this little gem! Cleanest and friendliest restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. ”
“ Nice atmosphere and easy to find! My hubby and I both ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and beans drizzled with ox tail gravy! Oh my gosh! So good and the service was prompt and friendly! A nice little chilled spot to get amazing food at an affordable price. They honor military with discounts and our bill was under 40. The portion sizes were filling and the sweet cornbread was amazing!! Will definitely go back!! ”
